The Lose Your Belly Diet is one of the most anticipated books of 2017. This book was written by Dr. Travis Stork.

He is a well-known celebrity doctor as well as a health and weight loss specialist.

If you are not familiar with him, he is a cast member of “The Doctors” a daytime TV show devoted to the latest in medical news and trends.

This book is one of his latest books that covers the current diet research.

Strategies Of The Lose Your Belly Diet

This is the first book I’ve read where the supposed main culprit behind the obesity, diseases and health issues is the lack of good bacteria in our bodies called microbes.

Basically, a person with good bacteria is usually healthy. Contrary to what you may think, it isn’t bad for you but good.  

It is especially good for your digestive system and keeps your gut healthy. The word microbe may sound scary to you, as it is usually associated with flu, Ebola, flesh-eating disease, you name it. 

However, according to this book, a healthy amount of microbes can keep us healthy.

Some of its benefits include-

  • It boosts the immune system
  • It protects us from auto-immune diseases
  • Keep us slim
  • Detoxify and fight off stress and
  • Keeps babies healthy

Are The Bacteria That Live Inside Human’s Body Dangerous?

No, it is a fact that there are some parts of the human body that bacteria love to live in.

Interestingly, the microbes that live in and on our bodies outnumber our own cells ten to one.   

These microbes organisms were found to be evenly distributed around the body.

Apparently, these kinds of healthy bacteria are passed onto us through birth from our mother and then it is based on how we lead our lives- in how we eat and exercise.

There are five strategies that are designed to target the growth of gut bacteria to help you in weight loss.

3: High Protein Diet:

It’s allowed to eat red meat as long as you limit the amount.

The biggest endorsement for protein in The Lose Your Belly Diet comes in the form of fish (for instance, salmon, trout, herring, and tuna), shellfish, legumes, nuts. Eggs and plant-based foods that are high in proteins.

4: Grains
