Falls can cause serious injuries, such as hip fractures and head trauma, and can even lead to death.
However, falls are not an inevitable part of aging. There are things that seniors can do to reduce their risk of falling. Exercises that improve strength, balance, and stability can go a long way toward preventing falls.
