Honest Product Review

Look, I’m going to be straight with you—I have a complicated relationship with office chairs.

For years, I treated my desk chair like an afterthought. It was a place to park my body between coffee refills and meetings, a piece of furniture I’d shove under the desk and forget about. And my body punished me for it. By 3 p.m., my lower back would start that dull, familiar ache—the one that radiates down into your hips and makes you shift every four minutes like you’re sitting on a mildly annoyed porcupine.

“The truth is, I didn’t want a better chair. I wanted permission to sit the way my body actually wanted to sit—cross-legged, knees up, leaning back, shifting positions like a normal, restless human being.”

But every ergonomic chair I’d tried treated “good posture” like a military drill. Feet flat. Back straight. Arms at ninety degrees. Don’t move. Right? It’s exhausting.

Then I stumbled into the DROGO Office Chair reviews rabbit hole. Specifically, the DROGO Proflex Ergonomic Office Chair—the one with the cross-legged design, the flip-up armrests, and the absurdly thick cushion. The marketing promised something different: a super ergonomic office chair that actually accommodates the way real people sit, not the way a physiotherapy textbook says we should. I was skeptical. I’ve been burned by “ergonomic” claims before.

🗓️

The 30-Day Test

I ordered one. And I committed to a 30-day test. Not a “sit in it for an afternoon and write a fluffy review” test. I’m talking about Day 1 vs. Day 30—the unboxing, the setup, the first fidgety hour, the slow creep of “wait, my back doesn’t hurt,” and the weird emotional relief of realizing you’ve been doing WFH on hard mode for years.

Here’s the short version:

By Day 30, I wasn’t thinking about my chair anymore. And that’s the highest compliment you can pay a piece of furniture. I wasn’t shifting every five minutes. I wasn’t doing that weird “stand up and stretch because my sciatic nerve is screaming” dance. I was just… working. Comfortably. Cross-legged, half the time, with a cat occasionally trying to claim the extra seat space.

The truth is, the DROGO Office Chair reviews you read online often focus on specs—mesh this, lumbar that, 3D armrests. And yes, we’ll get into all of that. But what I care about is the transformation. The difference between a chair that you tolerate and a chair that quietly removes a background stressor you didn’t even realize was draining your energy.

So here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to walk you through my actual, unfiltered experience with this super ergonomic office chair—the good, the weird, and the mildly annoying. By the end, you’ll know exactly what you’re getting. No hype. Let’s get into it.

DROGO Office Chair: Quick Summary

DROGO Office Chair

For those of you who want the bottom line before the deep dive—I get it. Here’s the snapshot.

Overall Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐½ (4.5/5)
Best For Remote workers, students, creatives, and anyone who sits cross-legged at a desk—especially if you’re tired of rigid “ergonomic” chairs that fight your natural posture. Also great for pet owners who want their furry coworkers nearby without losing workspace.
Not For People who need a traditional executive office look, or those who absolutely require a full mesh seat (this model uses faux leather and a thick foam cushion). If you’re a strict ergonomic purist, this chair’s flexibility might feel like overkill.
Key Features
  • Cross-legged design with a wide, 5.9-inch thick cushion seat
  • 180° flip-up armrests that lock in place
  • Dynamic lumbar support with a contoured backrest and adjustable headrest
  • 3 lockable recline positions (90°, 105°, 120°) with a low center of gravity
  • 400 lbs weight capacity (181 kg) (yes, four hundred—this thing is a tank)
Price Around ₹18,499 on the official DROGO website, though Amazon and Flipkart frequently run discounts in the ₹15,000–₹17,000 range. The DROGO gaming chair price for similar cross-legged models can climb higher, but the Proflex sits in a sweet spot for a feature-rich ergonomic desk chair.

A quick note on that rating: I’m docking half a star for one reason, and I’ll get into it later—it’s not a dealbreaker, but you deserve to know before you pull the trigger. (Spoiler: it’s about the armrest lock mechanism, and no, it’s not as bad as some forum threads make it sound.)

Detailed Review — The Unboxing, the Features, and the 30-Day Reality Check

Look, before we go any further, we need to clear something up. If you’ve been Googling DROGO Office Chair reviews, you’ve probably noticed something confusing: DROGO makes a lot of chairs. There’s the Proflex, the Zen Pro, the DynamicWing, the Aura—it’s a whole family tree, and the naming isn’t exactly crystal clear.

The model I’m reviewing here—the one that matches the brown faux leather, cross-legged, 181 kg-capacity specs—is the cross-legged variant in the DROGO lineup. Think of it as the super ergonomic office chair for people who refuse to sit like a Victorian schoolchild.

What Is the DROGO Cross-Legged Ergonomic Office Chair?

At its core, this is a heavy-duty ergonomic desk chair designed around one radical idea: you should be allowed to sit the way your body wants to sit.

🛋️
Extra-Wide, Extra-Thick Seat
5.9 inches of high-resilience sponge specifically built to accommodate a cross-legged posture without your knees hitting the desk or your hips going numb.
🔄
180° Flip-Up Armrests
They lock in place. Swing them out of the way when you want to tuck a leg up, then drop them back down when you need to type.
⚖️
Heavy-Duty Build
Wrapped in wear-resistant faux leather, sits on a sturdy metal base, and is rated for a massive 181 kg (400 lbs).
📐
3 Lockable Recline Positions
Features dynamic lumbar support and reclines to 90°, 105°, or 120° with a push-lock system.

The reality? Mostly yes. But with a few caveats that you deserve to hear before you spend your money.

My Hands-On Experience

DROGO Chair Day 1 vs Day 30

DAY 1

The Unboxing, Assembly & The First Sit

The box arrived looking like it had been through a minor war. Assembly took about 45 minutes solo. The manual was mostly clear (budget an extra ten minutes for trial-and-error with diagrams). Once built, it looks significantly more expensive than it cost.

The first sit: I lowered myself onto that 5.9-inch cushion and… huh. It’s firm. Supportive firm—the kind that makes you feel like the chair is holding you rather than swallowing you. I flipped the armrests up, tucked one leg under me, and felt a weird sense of relief.

“By the end of Day 1, my back was… fine. Not transformed. Not healed. Just fine. I went to bed cautiously optimistic.”

DAY 7

The “Wait, I Forgot I Was Sitting” Moment

Here’s the thing about a good chair: you stop noticing it. The 3 p.m. lower-back ache had softened. I was shifting positions less. The flip-up armrests became my favourite feature—down for typing, up for sitting cross-legged like a relaxed gargoyle.

BUT: The chair creaks. Not constantly, but when you shift weight laterally. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s there. It’s built to a price, and if you need absolute silence, you should know this.

DAY 30

The Transformation (It’s Not What You Think)

It’s not a dramatic before-and-after photo. It’s the absence of something. I hadn’t thought about my back in days. The background hum of physical discomfort that used to soundtrack my workday had faded to near-silence.

The energy thing surprised me. I hadn’t realised how much mental bandwidth I was spending on being uncomfortable until I wasn’t. A good ergonomic computer chair doesn’t add energy, it stops draining it.

The Real Caveats
  • ❌
The cross-legged claim: It is slightly oversold for larger bodies. The cushion is so thick that folding your legs fully requires flexibility. Broader bodies might sit half-cross-legged.
  • ❌
Customer support: Mixed. DROGO is a smaller brand; if something goes wrong, you might need to be persistent with emails. Not a reason to avoid, but a reality to factor in.

Key Features & Benefits (The Deep Dive)

Let’s break down the features that actually matter—not the marketing bullet points, but the things that changed my daily experience.

1. The Cross-Legged Seat Design (The Headline Act)

What it is:
A 5.9-inch thick cushion with high-resilience sponge and high-elasticity springs, paired with a wide seat pan and a low centre of gravity. The idea is that you can tuck your legs under you without the chair tipping or your knees hitting the desk.
The benefit:
So you can work for hours without your hips going numb or your legs falling asleep. So you can actually listen to your body instead of fighting it.
My experience:
This is the feature that sold me, and I use it daily. The cushion is firm enough that I don’t sink, and it feels completely stable. However, the thickness means you need flexibility to get fully cross-legged. A “half-criss-cross” was my sweet spot.

2. 180° Flip-Up Armrests (The Unsung Hero)

What it is:
Armrests that swing outward and upward, locking in multiple positions. They can go from a standard 90° typing position to completely out of the way, giving you maximum seat width.
The benefit:
So you can create instant space for cross-legged sitting. So you can tuck the chair completely under your desk (a godsend in small rooms).
My experience:
I didn’t think I’d care about this. I was wrong. It is genuinely transformative. The locking mechanism feels solid. The one gripe is the armrest pads are a little firm; resting your elbows for eight hours straight might require a small cushion.

3. Dynamic Lumbar Support & Adjustable Headrest

What it is & The benefit:
A contoured backrest with a dial-controlled lumbar pad, plus a headrest that adjusts up/down and tilts. This lets you fine-tune the support to your spine, avoiding the “pillow shoved in the wrong spot” issue of cheaper chairs.
My experience:
Once dialled in, I stopped noticing the lumbar support—which is exactly what you want. The headrest took more fiddling, but eventually found the right angle. It’s a gentle reminder to not let your head drift forward like a turtle.

Other Notable Features

4. Three Lockable Recline Positions (90°, 105°, 120°)

A push-lock recline mechanism (three distinct “gears”, not continuous tilt). 90° for work, 105° for reading, 120° for napping. It’s a bit clunky, but stable thanks to the low centre of gravity.

5. 181 kg Weight Capacity & Metal Base

Sturdy metal base and tear-resistant upholstery rated for ~400 pounds. The base is heavy and castors are smooth. Note: Some reviewers reported base failures after a few months, so keep your receipt and register the warranty.

6. Pet-Friendly Design

The faux leather holds up reasonably well to a cat, but I wouldn’t call it claw-proof. It’s claw-resistant. If you have a determined scratcher, use a throw blanket.

Pros and Cons

DROGO Pros and Cons

Look, no chair is perfect. Here’s the real scorecard.

👍 Pros 👎 Cons
Genuine cross-legged comfort: The wide, thick seat and flip-up arms make it actually possible to sit how you want. Assembly instructions: Can be confusing with mislabelled diagrams. Budget extra time and patience.
Excellent value: Adjustable lumbar, headrest, flip-up arms, and 400-lb capacity undercuts premium brands. Inconsistent build quality: Some units develop creaks/wobbles after a few months.
The Day 30 transformation is real: Less back ache, less fidgeting, more focus. Customer support: Hit-or-miss. Some report slow email chains. Persistence is key.
Sturdy and stable: Metal base and low centre of gravity make it feel secure. Cross-legged claim limits: If you’re broader, fully folding your legs may be a stretch. The armrest pads are also quite firm.

A note on the cons: None of these are dealbreakers if you go in with realistic expectations. This is a sub-₹20,000 chair. It’s not a Herman Miller. It’s a well-designed, feature-rich desk chair that punches above its weight—but it’s still a mass-market product.

Who Is the Manufacturer?

DROGO is an Indian brand based in Chennai, founded in 2021. It’s a young, direct-to-consumer operation manufacturing ergonomic gaming and office chairs. They sell primarily through their own website and marketplaces like Amazon.

Hey, a small brand means you’re not getting 24/7 support of a multinational. But it also means you’re getting a product priced aggressively because they’re not spending millions on marketing. Trade-offs, right?

Who Is This For, Who Should Walk Away, and How It Stacks Up

Look, I’ve spent the last few thousand words telling you how this chair changed my workday. But here’s the thing about DROGO Office Chair reviews—or any review, really—they’re useless if they don’t tell you who the product is wrong for. A chair that’s perfect for a 5’6” remote worker who sits cross-legged might be a nightmare for a 6’2” gamer. So let’s draw some lines in the sand.

✅ Who Is This Product For?

You should seriously consider this chair if:

You’re a cross-legged sitter.
Not a “sometimes I tuck one foot up” sitter—a proper sitter. The kind who folds their legs like a pretzel within five minutes. This chair is built for you.
Your office is a corner of your bedroom.
The flip-up armrests make it easy to tuck the chair under a desk, freeing up floor space.
You shift positions constantly.
Legs up, down, leaning back, leaning forward—this chair accommodates restlessness without punishing you.
You have pets.
The faux leather is claw-resistant and the wide seat gives your furry colleague a place to perch.
You’re on a budget but want quality.
At ₹15,000–₹19,000, it’s a super ergonomic office chair at a fraction of the price of premium brands.

❌ Who Is This Product NOT For?

You should probably skip this chair if:

You’re a strict ergonomic purist.
If you believe the only correct way to sit is the textbook 90-90-90 posture, this chair’s flexible philosophy will annoy you.
You need a full mesh seat.
It uses faux leather and thick foam. If you run hot or lack AC, it retains heat. Mesh breathes better.
You’re very tall (>6’2”) or broad.
Fully folding your legs may be a stretch; you might be sitting half-criss-cross instead.
You demand white-glove service.
DROGO is a small brand. Support is functional but not always fast.

Alternatives & Comparison (The Honest Head-to-Head)

The DROGO doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Here is how it compares to the competition.

1. Green Soul Monster Ultimate (T)

₹19,690

The “Gamer’s Cross-Legged” Alternative

Pros: 180° recline is nap-worthy. Memory foam lumbar. 4D armrests. Established brand.
Cons: Heavy (27kg). Gamer aesthetic. Not as purpose-built for cross-legged sitting as the DROGO.
Verdict: Choose DROGO for a cleaner office look and firmer seat. Choose Green Soul if you need a 180° recline for lounging or love the gamer vibe.

2. Featherlite Ergon (Anatom)

₹13,325

The “Premium Office” Alternative

Pros: Legacy brand credibility. Smoother knee-tilt mechanism. Looks highly professional.
Cons: Not designed for cross-legged sitting. Narrower seat, fixed armrests. Focused entirely on “correct” rigid posture.
Verdict: Choose Featherlite for a formal office if you never sit cross-legged. Choose DROGO if you WFH, want flexible posture, and need cross-legged support.

3. DROGO Zen Pro

~₹11,389

The “Cheaper Sibling” Alternative

Pros: Genuinely affordable. Same cross-legged concept and flip-up arms. Great back comfort for the price.
Cons: Lighter-duty build. Thinner cushion. Missing the premium materials and 400-lb capacity of the flagship model.
Verdict: A solid deal if ₹18k is a stretch. But if you can afford it, the thicker cushion and robust build of the flagship are worth the upgrade.

The unfiltered testimonials. Because trust is built on transparency.

★★★★★

“Excellent ergonomic chair that’s worth every rupee! I’ve been using it for a while now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and comfort. Assembly was straightforward…”

— Amazon Reviewer

★★★★★

“They are also useful for people who like to sit cross-legged or keep their legs folded while working, making the chair feel more comfortable and spacious.”

— Amazon Reviewer (Marshal Lite model)

★★★☆☆

“Only issue is with the seating base. It’s hard and thigh support is not good. Also the thigh support is little higher and hard due the frame.”

— Amazon Reviewer (Proflex model)

★☆☆☆☆

“I weigh 80KG and work in IT. On normal use, this chair broke down within 4 weeks.”

— Amazon Reviewer

The pattern is clear: most people love it, but a minority experience quality-control issues. The seat base firmness is a recurring complaint, and there are isolated reports of structural failures. It’s a mass-market chair built to a price. If you expect an excellent value with a small risk of needing to contact support, you’ll be thrilled.

The Benefits (The “Why It’s Worth It” List)

Let’s distill the Day 30 transformation into concrete benefits. This is what you’re actually buying:

1. Reduced lower-back fatigue
The adjustable lumbar support and contoured backrest mean you’re not collapsing into a C-shape by 3 p.m.
2. No more numb legs
The wide, thick seat allows you to shift positions and sit cross-legged without cutting off circulation.
3. Fewer “stand up and stretch” breaks
You work longer stretches because you’re not constantly uncomfortable.
4. Better focus
Less mental bandwidth spent on physical discomfort means more energy for actual work.
5. A workspace that adapts to you
Flip-up armrests, three recline positions, and an adjustable headrest mean the chair fits your body.
6. A home for your pet
The wide seat and durable faux leather make it a shared space, not a solo throne.
7. Long-term value
A 400-lb capacity and metal base mean it’s built to last (with the caveat that QC isn’t perfect).
8. Aesthetics that don’t scream “gamer den”
The brown faux leather and chrome accents look like a proper piece of furniture.

Pricing and Discounts (The “Is It Actually a Deal?” Section)

Look, here’s the real talk on money.

DROGO Proflex (Mesh) / Cross-Legged Model

MRP:
₹32,990
Current Sale Price:
₹15,000 – ₹18,499
Zen Pro (Budget Option):
₹11,389 – ₹12,990

Is it worth it? Right? That’s the question. Here’s my take: at ₹18,000+, it’s a fair price for a feature-rich ergonomic desk chair with cross-legged capability. It’s not a steal—you’re paying for the specialised design and the 400-lb capacity.

But at ₹15,000–₹16,000 (during a sale), it’s genuinely excellent value. You’re getting features that often cost ₹25,000+ from premium brands.

My advice: Don’t buy at full MRP. Wait for a sale, check Amazon and Flipkart for bank offers, and compare the price against the official DROGO website. The discounts are frequent. Patience pays.

Final Verdict — Is the DROGO Cross-Legged Chair Worth Your Money?

Right? Let’s bring this home.

I started this review with a confession: I treated my desk chair like an afterthought for years, and my body punished me for it. I didn’t want a fancier chair. I wanted permission to sit like a human being—cross-legged, restless, shifting positions without fighting the furniture. The DROGO gave me that permission.

The Day 1 experience was cautious optimism. Assembly took 45 minutes, the cushion felt firmer than I expected, and I went to bed thinking, “Well, that’s fine.”

The Day 30 reality was quieter—and more significant. I realised I hadn’t thought about my back in days. I wasn’t taking breaks because I needed to escape the chair, but because I wanted to. That’s the transformation nobody puts in the marketing copy: a good chair doesn’t add energy. It stops draining it.

So, Is It Worth the Money?

  • ✔
At the discounted price of ₹15,000–₹17,000: Yes. Absolutely. You’re getting a purpose-built super ergonomic office chair with features that routinely cost ₹25,000+ from legacy brands.
  • ✔
At full MRP (₹18,499+): It’s a fair deal, not a steal. If you can’t wait for a sale, you’re still getting a solid chair. But patience pays.
  • 🎯
Who should buy it without hesitation? The cross-legged sitter. The restless remote worker. The student. The pet owner. If that’s you, this chair was built for you.
  • ✖
Who should look elsewhere? The strict “feet flat, back straight” purist. The person who runs hot and needs a mesh seat. The buyer who cannot tolerate any risk of a creak.

The Final Scorecard (The Unvarnished Truth)

Category Rating The One-Line Take
Comfort (Cross-Legged) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The wide, thick seat is the whole point—and it delivers.
Ergonomic Support ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lumbar and headrest are solid; not the most refined, but excellent for the price.
Build Quality ⭐⭐⭐½ Sturdy metal base, but quality control is a lottery. Keep your receipt.
Ease of Assembly ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Under an hour solo, but the manual has occasional “is this upside down?” moments.
Value for Money ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ At sale price, nothing else in this category comes close. At MRP, still competitive.
Customer Support ⭐⭐⭐ Functional but inconsistent. Persistence is your friend.

Overall: 4.5/5. A chair that changes how you work, not just how you sit.

Customer questions & answers

FAQ — The Questions You’re Still Googling

Q: What is the warranty period on the DROGO cross-legged office chair?

A: DROGO offers a 3-year warranty on office chairs, gaming chairs, and cross-leg chairs, covering manufacturing defects in material, workmanship, and functionality. The hydraulic system and recliner mechanism are covered for 2–3 years for repair or replacement.

But—and this is crucial—you must register the product within 7 days of purchase at drogo.in/warranty, and you’ll need your invoice and photos/videos of any defect to file a claim. Normal wear and tear (fabric fading, cushion flattening, scratches) is not covered.

Q: What is the maximum weight capacity of this ergonomic computer chair?

A: The model reviewed here is rated for 400 pounds (approximately 181 kg), which is significantly higher than most chairs in this price bracket. The metal base and heavy-duty construction are built to match that rating.

However, a small number of buyers have reported base failures under normal use—so if you’re near the upper end of that limit, keep an eye on the base and register your warranty immediately.

Q: Can you really sit cross-legged in this chair comfortably?

A: Yes—with a caveat. The wide seat and 5.9-inch cushion are genuinely designed for cross-legged sitting, and the flip-up armrests create the space you need.

But the cushion is thick, which means fully folding your legs requires some flexibility. If you’re broader in the hips or thighs, you’ll likely find yourself in a half-criss-cross position rather than a full pretzel. It’s still vastly more accommodating than a standard office chair—just manage your expectations.

Q: How long does assembly take, and is it difficult?

A: Most people can assemble it solo in 30–60 minutes. The screws come bagged and labelled, and the manual is mostly clear.

The main frustration reported by buyers is occasional mislabelled diagrams or missing hardware—so if you hit a snag, don’t assume you’re doing it wrong. Check the parts against the list first, and keep the packaging until you’re sure everything’s there.

Q: What is the return policy if I don’t like it?

A: Return windows vary by retailer. Flipkart lists a 10-day return policy on select DROGO chairs. Amazon’s standard return policy applies, typically 7–10 days for defective items, with replacement or refund options.

DROGO’s own website offers a 7-day replacement window from delivery for damaged or defective products—but you’ll need photos and an unboxing video to file a claim. The truth is, returns are possible but require diligence. Keep your packaging.

Q: Is this chair suitable for pet owners?

A: Yes—the design explicitly accommodates pets. The wear-resistant faux leather is claw-resistant (not claw-proof), and the wide seat gives a cat or small dog room to sit beside you without evicting you.

One reviewer noted the “pet-friendly” design as a genuine plus. If you have a determined scratcher, use a throw blanket—but the upholstery held up well in my testing.

Q: How does the DROGO cross-legged chair compare to a gaming chair?

A: Gaming chairs prioritise recline and aesthetics—racing stripes, deep bucket seats, often a 180° flat recline for napping.

The DROGO cross-legged chair prioritises posture flexibility—the wide, flat seat and flip-up arms are built for sitting cross-legged, not for looking like an esports pro. If you want a chair that doubles as a lounge recliner, a gaming chair might suit you better. If you want a chair that lets you work comfortably in the position your body actually craves, the DROGO is the more purposeful tool.

Q: Is the DROGO Proflex the same as the cross-legged model?

A: No—they’re different chairs in the same family. The Proflex has a breathable mesh back, a footrest, 3D armrests, and a 2D headrest—it’s a more traditional ergonomic chair with a mesh seat.

The cross-legged model (the one reviewed here) uses faux leather and a thick foam cushion, with the headline feature being the wide seat and flip-up armrests designed specifically for folded-leg sitting. If you run hot and need ventilation, the Proflex might be the better fit. If you’re a dedicated cross-legged sitter, the model reviewed here is the one you want.

Finally! A chair for cross-legged sitters.

Reviewed in India on 12 October 2026

I work from home and have a terrible habit of sitting like a pretzel. Every other “ergonomic” chair I’ve owned has punished me for this with hard plastic edges digging into my ankles. The DROGO is an absolute game changer. The seat cushion is massive and thick (almost 6 inches), and flipping the armrests up gives me all the room I need. My lower back pain is essentially gone after three weeks. It took me about 45 mins to put together. Highly recommend if you are a fidgety sitter like me.

Great chair, terrible assembly instructions.

The chair itself is a solid 5 stars. It’s incredibly sturdy, the recline mechanism holds my weight perfectly, and the lumbar support hits exactly where it should. BUT the manual is awful. Step 3’s diagram is literally printed upside down. I had to unscrew the base plate twice because of it. Once it’s built, it’s fantastic. Just be prepared to use a bit of common sense instead of relying strictly on the paper guide.

Seat is firmer than expected. Armrests are hard.

Reviewed in India on 28 September 2026

I bought this expecting a super plush cloud based on the “5.9 inch thick sponge” marketing. It’s actually very firm. It’s supportive, yes, but if you want something squishy, this isn’t it. Also, the armrests have no real padding. If you lean on your elbows all day while typing, they will get sore. I had to buy separate memory foam covers for the armrests. Good build quality overall, but knocking off two stars for the hard armrests.

Base snapped after 2 months. Poor customer service.

I weigh 85kg, well under the 180kg limit. Last week, I leaned back and heard a loud crack. The wooden base underneath the seat cushion completely split. I emailed DROGO support and they took 4 days to reply, only to ask for an unboxing video. Who keeps an unboxing video for two months?! Still fighting to get my replacement part. Beware of the quality control on these.

Finally a chair for big and tall folks.

I’m 6’3″ and 115kg. Most chairs feel like toys to me, and the gas cylinders usually give out within a year. This thing is an absolute tank. The metal base is heavy-duty and the castors roll smoothly even on my carpet. I can’t quite sit cross-legged because of my long legs, but the seat width is amazing. No pinching on the thighs. Worth every penny.

My cat claims it.

Bought this because the wide seat looked perfect for my cat to sleep next to me while I work. Can confirm: cat loves it. The faux leather seems thick enough that her claws haven’t punctured it yet. Dropping one star because the chair squeaks a tiny bit when I lean all the way back to 120 degrees, but otherwise it’s solid.

Check your desk dimensions before buying! I live in a small Mumbai apartment and this chair is massive. Even with the armrests flipped up, the wheelbase is so wide I keep bumping into my drawer unit. Also it arrived with a scratch on the chrome base. Returning it for something smaller.

I swapped out my racing-style gaming chair for this, and I don’t regret it. Racing chairs squeeze your shoulders and thighs. The DROGO lets me sit however I want during long RPG sessions. The flip-up arms are brilliant because I can push the chair all the way under my desk when I’m done. Plus, the brown leather looks grown-up and stylish.

Great for fidgeters. Recline is clunky.

Reviewed in India on 2 August 2026

If you have ADHD and constantly change sitting positions, buy this. I go from cross-legged to knees-up to slouched every 20 minutes and this chair handles it perfectly. My only issue is the recline. It’s a 3-stage lock, not a smooth free-tilt. You have to yank the lever, push back hard, and lock it. It feels a bit primitive compared to my office Herman Miller, but for the price, I can’t complain too much.

Lifesaver for UPSC prep.

Studying for 10 hours a day was killing my tailbone. The sponge on this chair is thick enough that I don’t feel the plastic base at all. The adjustable lumbar support is perfect. I lock it at 105 degrees for reading heavy books. Worth the investment for students who spend their lives at a desk.

Gets very sweaty in summer.

The chair design is 10/10 but the PU leather is a nightmare in the Indian summer if you don’t have AC running constantly. My back gets completely drenched in sweat after 2 hours. I had to buy a cotton towel cover for it. If they made this exact cross-legged design with a mesh back, it would be the perfect chair.

Sukhasana at the desk!

As a yoga instructor transitioning to online consulting, standard chairs were ruining my posture. Being able to sit in Sukhasana (easy pose) while typing emails has been a blessing. The chair is extremely stable, and I never feel like it’s going to tip forward when my weight shifts. The headrest adjusts beautifully to support my neck.

Missing hardware.

Box arrived damaged and the packet containing the screws was ripped open. I was missing three M6 bolts. I had to go to the local hardware store to buy replacements just so I could finish putting it together. Chair is comfortable, but packaging needs serious improvement for the price they are charging.

Great value if you get it on sale.

Got this during a lightning deal for around 15k. At that price, it’s a no-brainer. The tilt lock and the flip-up arms are features you usually see on 25k+ chairs. It’s not Herman Miller quality (the plastic covers over the hinges feel a bit cheap), but functionally it is excellent. Wait for a sale.

Sciatica pain is finally gone.

I’ve suffered from mild sciatica for years. Standard chairs put too much pressure on my hamstrings and restrict blood flow. Being able to pull my legs up onto the seat has relieved so much pressure on my lower back and nerves. The lumbar knob is easy to reach and adjust. Literally crying tears of joy because I can work a 9-hour day without taking painkillers.

Not made for short people.

I am 5’1″. Even at the lowest hydraulic setting, the 6-inch cushion makes the chair so high that my feet dangle off the floor. If I want to sit normally (feet flat), it cuts off circulation to my calves. The headrest also hits the back of my head awkwardly instead of my neck. Unless you ONLY sit cross-legged, avoid this if you are under 5’4″.

Actually looks good in the living room.

My “home office” is my living room. I hated the look of black mesh office chairs or neon gaming chairs ruining the decor. The brown leather on this DROGO chair is super rich and matte. It blends in perfectly with my mid-century furniture. It’s functional but doesn’t look like an eyesore. Highly approve.

Great chair, but I removed the headrest.

The cross-legged seat is 10/10. The lumbar is 9/10. But the headrest is annoying. It kept pushing my neck forward no matter how I adjusted the angle. I ended up just unscrewing it and using the chair without it. Honestly, it looks better without the headrest anyway. Still giving 4 stars because the seat comfort is unbeatable.

Only ‘half’ cross-legged for thick thighs.

I bought this specifically because it said you could sit cross-legged. I am a curvy girl. Because the seat cushion is so puffed up and thick, my knees hit my desk when I fold my legs. If I lower the chair, my knees stick up too high. I can sit with one leg folded under me, but not both. Just a warning for thicker girls!

Wife stole it, had to buy a second one.

Bought this for my home office setup. I went to the kitchen to make tea, came back, and my wife had curled up in it with her laptop. She refused to give it back because she loved the flip-up armrests so much. I literally just ordered a second one today. It’s a brilliant chair, especially for the price point. No squeaks, easy to build.
